Hands Around Phyllis Wheatley
Last month DoCoMoMo Louisiana hosted a rally for support of Phyllis Wheatley Elementary School, slated for demolition this summer. Speakers included Phyllis Montana-Leblanc, John Stubbs, and John Klingman. Other participants spoke out in support of restoring the building and incorporating it into a modern school complex.
